About Dave Mallen
Dave graduated from the University of Florida with High Honors in Business Administration, then earned his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1990. Dave is a former insurance defense attorney defending Florida's largest hospitals and insurance companies in litigated matters, then representing both employers and injured workers in complex workers compensation matters for over 35 years. Dave founded and built the workers' compensation department and was an owner and the only ever workers' compensation partner at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys. Dave and his wife Carla have two children who attended St. Margaret Mary, then Winter Park High, and then Georgetown and Stanford universities both as college athletes.
